About The Opportunity

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process and ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Execute production plans to ensure efficient runs with minimal downtime, meeting targets and deadlines
• Liaise with Maintenance and Quality departments to monitor and address production-related performance and issues
• Manage and organise the entire production team, supervising, developing, and motivating staff, and ensuring effective team communication with a focus on efficiency, quality, and turnaround times
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and other industry regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Assist with production trials and execution
• Assist with GMP, housekeeping, and audits

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry
• Relevant Trade, Diploma, or Tertiary Qualification in a related field
• Extensive, hands-on experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) production
• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• In-depth knowledge of Food Safety, Quality Standards, and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations
• Practical experience with machinery and maintenance (highly regarded)
