The Opportunity

We are seeking a Systems Business Analyst to support business transformation through process optimisation, data analysis, and solution implementation for our Government client.

In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, document requirements, and help design and implement innovative process and system improvements. Your work will directly contribute to strategic decision-making and improved operational efficiency.

* Temporary role within a Government Department, and while hours can't be guaranteed, the client is ideally seeking someone available to work up to 38 hours per week

About You

We are looking for a Systems Analyst with:
* Experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field
* The ability to clearly document business processes and technical requirements
* Familiarity with reporting tools and data visualisation (highly regarded)
* Experience supporting process improvement and optimisation initiatives

Key responsibilities include:
* Gathering and documenting business requirements with stakeholders
* Analysing data to identify trends and support strategic decisions
* Developing and maintaining business process models
* Designing solutions aligned with business objectives
* Communicating updates and recommendations to stakeholders and executives
* Preparing technical specifications for reporting and data projects
* Assisting with Board reporting and UAT for system upgrades (e.g., CRM)
