Carlins Automotive Auctioneers is a national, industry leading Automotive Auction House with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Established in 1960, Carlins is now part of the Eagers Automotive Group.

We are expanding and a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a professional Administrator / Receptionist to join our friendly team. This role is working full time hours Monday - Friday on site at our office in Brooklyn.

You will be part of a small finance and administration team and full training and mentoring will be provided.

The role will involve, but not be limited to, the below tasks:

Front desk management

Answering and directing phone calls

Assisting clients

Processing Vic Roads transfers

Preparing paperwork for our twice weekly auction

PPSR's

Takata recall checks

Processing toll fines

Other ad hoc admin tasks as directed

The ideal candidate should also display the following attributes and skills:

A friendly disposition and good work ethic

A positive, "can do" attitude

Willing to be a team player and “wear many hats” within our small team

Experience at answering and directing telephone calls

An intermediate level of knowledge and skills in Word, Excel and Outlook

Good computer skills

Professional phone manner & personal presentation

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

The ability to work as part of a team

Whilst not a requirement, some admin experience, particularly in the auto industry, will be highly regarded.
