About the role

This is a full-time Quality Manager position based in Benalla, Victoria. As the Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high standards and quality of products manufactured by LS Precast, a leading provider of precast concrete solutions. Working closely with the production team, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control processes to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing quality control systems and procedures to monitor and maintain product quality

Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify and address any quality issues

Analysing quality data and producing reports to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Collaborating with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related problems

Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements

Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

Continuously reviewing and improving quality assurance processes to drive operational excellence

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in an engineering, quality assurance, or a related technical discipline

Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management or quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry

Demonstrated expertise in quality control techniques, including statistical process control

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals

Proficient in the use of quality management software and data analysis tools
