Position Title: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: North Richmond, Australia
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in North Richmond. The successful candidate will support the Quality Assurance team in maintaining and improving product quality standards. This role involves a variety of tasks including raising IMS (Incident Management System) reports, managing DAF (Defective and Faulty) processes, returning stock to Radius, handling rework paperwork, and leading the development of the quality plan. The Quality Assurance Analyst will ensure processes required for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented, and maintained, conduct IMS investigations, prepare customer reports, complete internal and external audits, and assist the QC team as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising IMS Reports: Document and report incidents in the Incident Management System, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of quality issues.
  • Coordinate and Execute QMS: Coordinate and execute the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS) to meet relevant Quality and Regulatory Standards and Customer Requirements.
  • Quality Plan Development: Lead the development of the quality plan and stakeholder communication for all internal and external quality system requirements.
  • Manage Quality Systems: Manage Quality Systems, lead and implement internal and external auditing practices, and prepare and present reports that reflect audit results.
  • DAF Management: Oversee the Defective and Faulty (DAF) process, coordinating with relevant departments to address and resolve DAF issues.
  • Returning Stock to Radius: Manage the process of returning stock to Radius, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of returned items.
  • Rework Paperwork: Handle all paperwork related to rework processes, ensuring rework documentation is complete and accurate.
  • IMS Investigations: Conduct investigations into IMS reports, collaborating with the QC team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Customer Reports: Prepare quality reports for customers and deliver them to the Quality Assurance Manager for review.
  • Assist QC Team: Provide support to the Quality Control team as needed, participating in quality audits and inspections.
  • Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate continuous improvement skills and capabilities.
  • Deviation Reporting: Raise and report Internal and External Deviations in Q-Pulse.
  • Customer Query Investigation: Investigate customer queries.
  • Internal Calibration Management: Manage the Internal Calibration system.
  • Deviation Analysis Support: Provide support for Deviation analysis.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality system weaknesses and noncompliance.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee.
  • Global Collaboration: Collaborate with the Global product stewardship management team.
  • Site Trials and Change Control: Determine, document, and approve Site trials and change control processes.
  • Quality Training: Conduct Quality-related site training.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate FSC & PEFC Internal and external audits.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor employee performance to ensure compliance with standards or regulations.
  • Customer Complaints: Support customer complaints and Internal non-conformance investigations.

Critical Education, Qualifications, and Experience (Must Haves):

  • TAFE, University Qualifications, or an associate degree in quality assurance or a similar role.
  • 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance or a similar role in the Packaging, Food, or Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
  • Certifications in quality standards, HACCP, FSSC, or equivalent courses.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools, including Radius.
