Our renowned coffee window is seeking an experienced and skilled Part-Time Barista to join our dynamic team.
Position: Head Barista (FULL-TIME HOURS AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT PERSON)
Job Description: As a Barista at our coffee shop, you will be responsible for creating an extraordinary coffee experience for our customers. Your expertise in crafting delicious beverages, along with your warm and friendly personality, will leave a lasting impression on our guests. Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing and serving a wide range of high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages with precision and consistency.
Understanding and fulfilling customer preferences, ensuring their coffee orders are customized to perfection.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including the coffee station and all related equipment.
Assisting in restocking supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and placing orders when necessary.
Providing exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions, and offering recommendations on our menu offerings.
Handling transactions accurately and efficiently through our point-of-sale system.
Adhering to all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of both customers and staff.
Requirements: To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced coffee shop or similar environment
Proficient knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art skills.
Ability to dial in and troubleshoot coffee machine/grinders. Including regular cleaning.
Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently during peak hours.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Flexibility to work part-time hours, approximately 30-40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
