Bruce Tea & Coffee is a small coffee roaster, operating a small retail space in Glebe. We are a family business with staff that have been with us on average of 5 years. Our small business is growing and looking for kind, generous and happy coffee pro's to join our family.

The role is for a coffee expert that will work with the head barista and quality control manager.

The position is a part-time working Monday and Tuesday.

The barista will be responsible for;

1. Dialling in espresso blends and single origin

2. Brewing and dialling in batch brew.

3. Brewing specialty tea

4. Customer service using the square POS.

5. Assist the floor and kitchen staff with service, cleaning and dishes.

6. Work as part of an expert barista team to improve the quality of coffee, tea and service.

7. The barista will advise retail customers on how to brew coffee at home.

8. Opening and closing the cafe.

Also;

1. Must have knowledge of brewing V60, aeropress, french press and cold brew.

2. Have excellent communication skills.

3. Be able to weigh shots

4. Be familiar with pressure and temperature profiling using a synesso coffee machine or similar.

5. Be able to work clean, quick and with a positive attitude..
