Our Café Staff members hold a vital role in the daily functioning of our small family business, focusing on tending to customer requirements, preparing food and beverages, upholding impeccable cleanliness standards, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all customers.

We prioritise our customers' first impressions, so we seek an Assistant Manager / Head Barista who is not only friendly, well-groomed, and efficient but also possess strong English language skills and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

Barista and Manager experience in a fast-paced environment is “essential”.

Ability to supervise and provide direction for day-to-day operations of the café.

Available Tuesday - Saturday is a must!

Are passionate and have a love for coffee making and food preparation.

Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and strong organisational skills.

Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Responsibilities:

Craft high-quality coffee and prepare other beverages, including milkshakes and smoothies.

Bake and prepare a wide variety of toasties, slices, cookies and truffles.

Greet customers, take orders and process payments.

Building rapport with customers by recognising their preferences to provide a personalised experience.

Work closely with Café owner and supervisor to ensure new processes are implemented.

This attractive position will include training with the legends at Gigante Coffee.
