About the Role:
As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will provide discipline-specific engineering services across multiple projects. Your role is crucial to ensuring technical integrity in the delivery of projects, while supervising and mentoring junior engineers. This position will require collaboration with various stakeholders at head offices, client locations, and sites, with an emphasis on client support, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise project-based engineering teams to meet project objectives.

Guide and mentor engineers in their professional development.

Ensure compliance with HSEQ and Quality Policies at all times.

Foster and maintain relationships within the engineering community and with clients.

Assist in equipment selection, design, and procurement.

Develop quotations, proposals, and technical solutions for clients.

Participate in risk identification, mitigation, and developing cost-effective solutions.

Review and approve designs to ensure quality and consistency.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and technologies.

Potentially act as a Project Engineer when required.

Proactively ensure all tasks are clearly defined and completed within scope.

Skills and Experience Required:

Degree in Engineering or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

Experience with Allen-Bradley required

Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in control systems.

Strong leadership and practical experience in the field.

Ability to provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.

Knowledge of HSEQ policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Experience in preparing proposals, technical solutions, and bids.

Familiarity with project management fundamentals.

Ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable:

Engineering experience across multiple industry sectors.

Member of Engineers Australia or equivalent.

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.

Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) status.
