We have two openings with our industry leading client across their businesses and automated control system projects. With a large portfolio of operations, we have 2 X long term contracts for Senior Controls System Engineers to work with Engineering team in Brisbane.

We are looking for engineers to support control system related issues ensuring effective plant and equipment efficiency by developing and implementing strategies and processes that advance the automated control systems of the respected company.

Your responsibilities and skills will include, but not limited to:

• Profficiency in programming SCADA, PLCs and LAN/WAN software
• Improving plant capability, safety, and reliability by improving proactive maintenance system
• SCADA system management, ie. virtualisation, system admin, networking, IT knowledge desirable
• Provide governance on all control systems changes including risk assessment, compliance to design standards and verification
• Experience with a range of PLC/SCADA/RTU types and applications
• In depth PLC or SCADA competence (if not both), preferably Schneider ,Citect, Clear/ GEO Scada
• Citect or System Platform experience looked upon favourably
• Lead and manage projects from concept to completion

Ideal Qualifications:

• 5+ years previous experience in control systems and/ or electrical engineering support
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechatronic or Control Systems Engineering
• Competent in configuring and programming various platforms
• Current RPEQ would be ideal
