About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Business Development Manager to lead the development and execution of sales strategies in Western Australia. This is a critical role where you will be responsible for driving market penetration and the growth of a diverse range of products and services across industries like oil and gas, mining, civil contractors, power generation, and transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the business development and sales activities across WA, focusing on target industries such as oil & gas, mining, civil contractors, power generation, and transport
• Position the company's products and services as the preferred solution in the market
• Develop, communicate, and execute a sales strategy with urgency to meet business growth targets
• Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to the local sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, offering tailored solutions and expanding business opportunities
• Manage sales activity, reporting regularly on progress, and ensuring team targets and profitability objectives are met
• Collaborate with national teams to ensure unified proposals and a professional, consistent offering
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and the development of efficient business development and sales processes

Skills & Attributes:

• Proven sales leadership with 5+ years of experience in sales management and business development
• Strong experience in resource/mining, power generation, or industrial equipment sectors (preferred)
• Exceptional ability to negotiate, problem-solve, and drive results
• Highly skilled in project management and strategic planning
• Solid understanding of financial management, including P&L and budgeting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset
• A strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in sales & business development in relevant industries
• Experience with CRM systems for strategy and performance monitoring
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to handle work stress and manage multiple priorities effectively
