About the role

We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team at the Lonestar Rib House & Brews' restaurant in Hallett Cove, South Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and cook a range of menu items to the highest quality standards
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented in a timely and visually appealing manner
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Excellent physical condition with stamina
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to any customer requests or feedback

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience as a cook or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Certificate III and positive skill assessment for overseas applicants
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
