Qualification & Experience

. Passion for and knowledge of the food industry

. Experience in busy kitchen environment at least one year.

. Ability to maintain calm under pressure , multitask and display effective organisation and communication with team member

. Excellent time management and teamwork skills

. A desire work in professional, Disciplined environment

. A drive of knowledge and career development

. Desired education background Certificate IV commercial cookery & Diploma of hospitality Management or Equivalent desired

Responsibilities :

. - Lead a kitchen team and display practiced and efficient kitchen management

- Undertake the preparation and cooking of meals on shift as required

- Portion and label produce before cooking, chilling and distribution

- Take lead in menu planning as per restaurant’s direction

- Assist, train and guide new and junior staff

- Undertake and manage kitchen cleaning every shift or as necessary

- Take responsibility for produce ordering and kitchen organization as required

- Accept, adhere and promote Workplace Health and Safety requirements, appropriate standards and risk management guidelines
