The Company
We are exclusively recruiting a newly formed Sydney Metro Sales & Operations Manager role for our client who has been at the forfront of their industry for over 50 years. This is a Western Sydney (office location) which oversees a multi site branch network and direct reports of 7 x BDMs. Although your office based in Western Sydney, this role will see you spend much of your time with your team on the road developing its client base throughout Sydney and Regional NSW. Our clients focus is within coatings in commercial contracting. Their business covers construction maintenance contracts and upgrades within local Gov, Education, Strata, Building Services, Facilities Maintenance Companies, Hospitals, Commercial Buildings, Retail and Hospitality.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a growth and solultion selling Sales Leader and mentor to manage a already successful team of performing individuals to take them to the next level.
The Role
- Must have extensive experience in subcontractor management, labour hire, trade management and maintenance contracts in a similar market. DET, Private Schools, State Gov, Commercial Construction, Industrial sites, Hospitals, Facilties Management Companies etc
- Ability to attend industry functions events and conferences, trade shows after hours to promote the company brand.
- Help identify new opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Work with Operations Management to develop multi site branch sales strategy.
- Research organisations and individual entities to identify new leads and potential new market segments.
- Follow the Challenger sales process for identifying, prospecting, interacting with clients when qualifying leads.
- Exceptional face to face communication and active listening style to understand client requirements long term for maintenance contracts.
- Ensure your teams data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM system Microsoft Dynamics.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms for major tenders.
- Business or Marketing degree qualifications.
- Safety and Quality Leadership and Management
- Opertations and Sales Management and growth and operational compliance
- Revenue and Cost Management including Budget and P&L responsibility, manage P & L and growth forcasting and monthly reporting.
About you:
- Coatings experience within your career this is needed to hit the ground running and understand the overall challenges within the painting contractor market at a commercial level.
- Relationship and sales team and client management leader within the construction contractor market!
- Over 15 years of experience in a Sales leadership Contractor side market role.
- Cultural growth positive change team focussed supportive Manager
- BCA knowledge, including working in a Senior level role managing multiple teams across Trades, Engineering, Projects, Maintenance and Sales
- Sales or Business Management Degree
- Effectiveness in a fast-paced environment
- A self-driven attitude and be able to contribute to the growth of the company
- Understand the benefit of building strong working relationships and collaborating with all parties, particularly clients, employees, subcontractors and suppliers.
What's on Offer?
Well over standard base salary for this role as we are looking for the best of the best in this market and my client also pays quarterly bonuses and seperate to that uncapped commissions, if you are driven by high earnings on performance then this role is for you. Over and above the base plus super is a 25K car allowance, standard super, On-site parking, uniform (shirts only) mobile phone, laptop all travel expenses, yearly performance review.
