If you are an experienced Logistics Coordinator and a Dispatch extraordinaire, we want to hear from you!

The Role:

• Responsible for Logistics at PSA Victoria, based in our Scoresby location, and input into Logistics within the PSA Group.
• To organise the order of dispatch functions through our local drivers and carriers.
• Ensure customer service levels are maintained as the highest priority whilst keeping costs down.
• Processing of delivery dockets and associated paperwork for dispatch of goods through ERP systems.
• Record keeping for audit purposes.
• Plan all deliveries and pickups based on the most efficient means with consideration to availability, packing requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure PSA vehicles are scheduled and loaded for next day deliveries.
• Monitor and check transport rates for competitiveness and service, whilst keeping a log for various regional and interstate locations.
• Liaise with Warehouse Supervisor to prioritise picking orders to meet customer requirements and company efficiencies.
• Responsible for maintaining DIFOT relating to logistics issues.

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to plan and prioritise.
• Computer literacy - Microsoft suite exposure - training will be provided on our ERP system (Netsuite).
• Awareness of safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
• Current driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years exposure/experience in a logistics/warehouse environment.
• Practical knowledge of OHS&E within a warehouse environment.
• Customer service focused including internal & external stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with an awareness of the audience.
• Apply knowledge in a practical and commercial manner.
• High time management skills to accomplish objectives effectively within a time frame.
• Willingness to assist and support others as required and to get on with team members.
• Ability to delegate duties and have confidence in all dealings.
• Pleasant outgoing personality - ability to get on well with team members.
