Role Overview:

• To elevate our warehouse operations and ensure that our warehouse runs like a well-oiled machine.

• Coordination and organisation of the warehouse and delivery drivers to meet required company and customer expectations

• You will be expected to work hard and to put in effort to get the job done with a high level of attention to detail at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement real and lasting strategies to bring efficiency to the warehouse

• Resource planning to maximise efficiency and minimise time, productivity and cost losses

• Managing the daily work plan for the warehouse and delivery drivers

• Adherence to stock management systems.

• Coordinating the flow of goods, ensuring accurate stock levels, and minimizing waste.

• Overseeing the process of receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and ensuring proper storage.

• Processing and preparing orders for shipment, coordinating with delivery services, and ensuring timely delivery.

• Working with other departments to optimize warehouse operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

• Ensure daily start-up procedures are completed for vehicles and forklifts

• Daily liaison with Transport, Sales and Supply Chain to monitor and improve processes.

• Full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures.

• Assist in employee training, development and engagement.

Sills & Attributes:

• Minimum 5 years experience in warehousing with team leadership experience as well

• Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done and to ensure that the days work is complete before you leave

• Proactive with an eye for problem solving and continuous improvement.

• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS)

• Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft office.
