About The Role

We are currently looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Assistant to join our Melbourne team and will be part of our Airport/Clearance Team. You will be based in our third party logistics company based in Tullamarine. You will assist with coordinating and checking QC for incoming product, ensuring biosecurity compliance, managing documentation, overseeing transportation logistics, communicating with relevant stakeholders, and other operational tasks such as picking and packing.

This role is suitable for an allrounder and someone who enjoys performing a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis, including administration and operational work.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Sunday - Thursday from 7 am to 4 pm. You will have a hands-on approach to your work, be a team player, take pride in your work, and have the chance to work with beautiful flowers.

Required Experience/Skills/Capabilities:

• A current and clean Drivers Licence and Record
• HR Driving license highly regarded (not essential)
• The ability to drive manual and a small truck
• A current National Police Check
• A forklift licence is highly desired but not required
• Good learner who is intuitive and shows a high level of enthusiasm with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Proactive with positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of the operation.
• Flexibility of hours - to achieve the best outcome.
• Physical fitness is a priority and focus of the job. Able to lift more the 20kgs and stand on your feet all day.
• Ability to move around within a warehouse with storage and refrigeration access.
• Required to work in refrigeration as low as 3 degrees for periods of time.
• Is able to navigate their way around a computer and software.
