As a Sales Assistant / Yard Person in our Benalla yard, you’ll play a key role in assisting customers, handling steel products, and ensuring our yard runs efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and an interest in the steel or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with product selection and sales enquiries
• Processing customer orders
• Loading and unloading steel products safely (manual handling, forklift, crane use)
• Cutting, measuring, and organising customer steel orders
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a steel yard, construction, or industrial setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of steel products (advantageous)
• Forklift and/or crane experience (preferred)
• Medium Rigid truck license (preferred)
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in an outdoor environment
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
