A little about the role

Due to growth across the organisation, we are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our dynamic, national team and provide comprehensive support across all of our jurisdictions.

This role will see you working on recruitment, onboarding and other administrative tasks, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to one of our People Business Partners, some of your main responsibilities include:

  • Support recruitment efforts, from posting job ads to candidate screening, coordinating interviews and coordinating the onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and support the development of a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture.
  • Preparing new and changing employment documentation for new and existing employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems.
  • Handling ad hoc admin tasks to support organisational operations.

The base salary for this position is $73,795 - $79,135 /annum (based on 1.0EFT) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.

This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity based at our Parkville office.


About you

You’ll have an interest in creating and contributing to positive candidate and employee experiences and providing high quality support to your stakeholders.

You will come with general office experience, a high level of computer proficiency, knowledge of Modern Awards and understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements.

You will also have a keen eye for detail, an ability to juggle competing priorities and communicate simply and effectively, both verbal and written, with a diverse staff group at all levels.

The below are advantageous but not essential:

  • Qualification in Human Resources or Administration.
  • Previous experience in recruitment and/or a generalist human resources role.
  • Experience in the welfare, care, or not-for-profit environment.
