Supply Nation is recruiting for a People, Culture and Safety Coordinator. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the overall objective of the People, Culture and Safety Coordinator is to develop, implement and maintain Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems and provide broad HR support to ensure a positive, safe and compliant workplace. This role will support the organisation by driving a culture of continuous improvement, compliance and employee engagement while ensuring all policies, procedures, and legislative requirements are met.

The functions of the People, Culture & Safety Coordinator will continue to evolve with the needs of the organisation and our stakeholders.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Indigenous societies, cultures and issues affecting Indigenous Australians in business.
• Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Work Health and Safety or demonstrated relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing WHS systems and initiative.
• Proven experience in generalist HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with the capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with sensitive information, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, engage and influence at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues proactively.
• Ability to lead and influence cultural and behavioural change initiatives.

Desirable

• Exposure to ISO 45001, ELMO and SharePoint.
• Experience in managing projects, including system implementation and troubleshooting.
• Sound working knowledge of workers compensation systems.
