St John NT is looking for a People Culture & Recruitment Officer to become a part of the Human Resources team, responsible for supporting various People & Culture functions such as recruitment, administration, reporting, onboarding, record keeping, and HR activities. This role will coordinate the People and Culture processes and offer guidance to staff, ensuring they have the necessary information for effective decision-making.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Efficiently managing administrative tasks to support the People and Culture team's daily operations
• Assisting in the evaluation and updating of position descriptions to align with strategic and operational goals.
• Ensure relevant records maintained (i.e., police checks, eligibility, working with children checks etc.) coordinating meetings and interviews,
• Responding to inquiries via phone and email courteously and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the People and Culture Strategy.

This role requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial due to the sensitive nature of employee information handled daily.

Ideally, candidates should possess 2-3 years of experience in a People and Culture setting, with a Certificate III in Human Resources Management being desirable but not mandatory.
