Your normal day will involve...
Independently designing and delivering the Fair, Safe & Respectful Workplace Framework and related resources Creating clear, accessible policies, website content, and learning materials Supporting stakeholder consultation and integrating feedback Collaborating with the Creative Workplaces team to align the framework with legal obligations and best practices Applying expertise in areas such as WHS, discrimination, cultural safety, and commercial law
You’ll play a key role in shaping national workplace practices in the creative sector. This is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, intellectual challenge, and delivering high-impact work. Your contribution will support ethical, inclusive, and compliant workplaces across Australia.

About you...
This role is suited to either a:
Senior Consultant / Subject Matter Expert
- 7–15 years' experience in workplace relations, WHS, or employment law
- Proven ability to develop frameworks, policies, and L&D materials
- Strong plain-English writing skills
- Solid understanding of the Fair Work Act and related legislation
- Experience collaborating with government, creative, or small business stakeholders
- Able to manage deadlines and deliver accessible, high-quality outputs
Principal Consultant / Specialist Advisor
- 15+ years of senior experience in workplace relations, WHS, and employment law
- Recognised for leading national or sector-wide policy or frameworks
- Exceptional plain-English writing and strategic thinking skills
- Trusted to deliver high-quality content with minimal revision
- Confident in matters of compliance, inclusion, and stakeholder engagement
You’ll Need To Demonstrate:
- Expertise in workplace relations and employment law
- Excellent plain-English writing for diverse audiences
- Experience developing frameworks, policies, and learning resources
- High attention to detail and strong collaboration skills
