Expression of Interest – Human Resources Officer

Are you interested in growing your career in HR with Flintwood Disability Services? We are seeking expressions of interest for a Human Resources Officer role. This full-time position will be based at our Castle Hill office in NSW and will play a key role in supporting our HR functions.

As part of our dynamic HR team, the successful candidate would contribute to initiatives that support a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

What you'll be doing

Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and managing the onboarding process

Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters, such as performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and regulations

Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes

Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, fostering open communication and employee engagement

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR Generalist or HR Coordinator role

Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders

Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite

Passion for supporting and developing people, and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
