Your opportunity
Make an impact as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for our Partnerships and Philanthropy team.
In this role, you'll take the lead in developing engaging marketing campaigns, crafting compelling communications, and coordinating impactful events that connect our supporters to the heart of our work. From designing newsletters and creating surprise and delight moments for supporters to planning supporter events and ensuring high-quality data management, you'll be at the center of our philanthropic engagement strategy.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate Partnerships and Philanthropy team annual marketing and engagement plan.
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop touchpoint communications from briefing through to delivery.
- Plan and build marketing and event campaigns including direct mail, electronic direct mail and other channels in the marketing automation system or other systems including data selections.
- Develop social and digital content for events and other comms in collaboration with Brand, Content and Digital Team.
- Coordinate supporter events in collaboration with the Marketing and Events Business Partner including representing Mission Australia at events when required.
- Update, maintain and monitor supporters in the CRM and marketing technology systems according to agreed procedures.
Requirements for success
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Events / Communications.
- Experience in providing marketing campaign coordination with strong project planning skills.
- Experience with digital systems or other digital marketing or marketing automation platform highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in copy writing and content development.
- Accountable, with strong organisational skills, impeccable attention to detail and timing/timelines, process driven and focused on accuracy.
- A high level of computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound listening and engagement skills including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders.
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
