Due to an exciting period of growth, we currently have an opportunity available for a full-time Procurement and Warehouse manager to join our team.

The Company

Our company provides a range of leading-edge electronic security solutions for Aged Care, Hospitals, Government Departments, and a broad range of commercial clients. Our solutions incorporate Electronic Security, IP CCTV, Access Control, and comprehensive Healthcare Applications.

Based in Altona North, you will be joining a boutique industry leading professional organisation in the Security & Healthcare Industry and is backed by a Global ASX Listed company.

The Person

This position is ideal for someone who considers themselves a team player and has a positive and self-motivated attitude that can contribute to the success of the team. Demonstratable success in inventory control and warehouse management is a pre-requisite and the successful person must be able to drive successful outcomes, possess a positive customer service ethic and strong problem-solving/analytical skills with an eagerness to learn. Intermediate skill levels in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Simpro and Xero are highly desirable.

The Role

The Procurement and Warehouse Manager will oversee the purchasing process within a diverse supplier network and closely monitor the storage and distribution of product to ensure that stock levels remain accurate, costs are optimised, and delivery timelines are met. Some key responsibilities are:

  • Oversee the entire procurement process and maintain logs and process to satisfy audit requirements
  • Supervise delivery into our warehouse and ensure stock is safely stored, accounted for and logged and dispatched efficiently, including customs clearance when required
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Manage min/max inventory holdings to avoid overstocking.
  • Evaluate and manage supplier relationships
  • Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock checks
  • Implement safety procedures
  • Identify and report on obsolete and slow-moving stock
  • Co-ordinate with couriers to ensure delivery deadlines are met shipping costs are minimised
