About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Child Care Centre Director to lead the St Mary Multicultural Early Learning Centre in Rhodes, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of our vibrant child care centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care services.

What you'll be doing

• Provide strong leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the child care centre
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs to support the centre's educational and care objectives
• Manage and develop the centre's teaching staff, including recruitment, training and performance management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards in early childhood education
• Foster positive relationships with families, the local community and key stakeholders
• Manage the centre's budget and financial reporting
• Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of the centre's services

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a Diploma qualification.
• Substantial experience (5+ years) in a management role within the child care industry, even as 2IC
• Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and early childhood education best practices
• Excellent leadership, people management and communication skills
• Strong organisational and financial management capabilities
• Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive and culturally-responsive care
