The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to become the Centre Director of Rainbow Child Care and Early Learning, a leading provider of high-quality childcare and early learning services in New Town, Tasmania. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation and management of the centre, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, educators, families and the community
• Provide strong leadership and management of the centre, including staff supervision, development and coaching and mentoring
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and policies to maintain the centre's high-quality standards
• Foster a positive, nurturing and inclusive environment that aligns with the centre's values and philosophy
• Actively engage with families to build strong partnerships and enhance the overall family experience
• Manage the centre's budget, resources and administrative functions effectively

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role within the early childhood education and care sector
• Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with families, staff and the community
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and other relevant regulations and standards
• Passion for providing high-quality, inclusive care and early learning experiences for children
