About the Role
The Office and Member Services Coordinator is the first point of contact for the members and stakeholders, providing professional and timely services and events for members and staff. The role will coordinate a range of activities to support member services and engagement as well as providing operational support for the Chapter office . The Office and Member Services Coordinator is an integral part of the Chapter team, responsible for performing duties associated with the Sydney office of the Institute, and the development and delivery of specific projects, resources and services to Institute members and the broader architectural community.
What you will bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience in administration or as a office coordinator
- Efficient, accurate and friendly service to member enquiries via email, telephone and over the counter and assist the Chapter team in prioritising and responding to specific enquiries
- The ability to take minutes of meetings, write reports, letters and other documents where required
- Strong appreciation of, and commitment to the vision, values and goals of the Institute
- High level of competence in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Help to support the successful delivery of the chapter’s events, assisting with registrations, paying invoices and expenses, supporting events on the day e.g. on a registration desk and providing logistical support, assisting colleagues and volunteers and liaising with various event stakeholders
- Experience within a membership organisation will be highly regarded
