About the role

This role is suited to a customer-focused individual looking to start or advance their career in the IT field. The position provides the right candidate with the opportunity to gain experience in a broad spectrum of technology and issues rather than a specialised skill set. The role plays a key part in troubleshooting technical problems and ensuring our clients have a seamless customer experience.

What the Role looks like

  • Ensuring timely resolutions of requests, managing client expectations, and following up for satisfaction.
  • Assisting in setting up, configuring, and maintaining IT systems, including user accounts and software.
  • Imaging, deploying and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
  • Conducting diagnostic tests and proactively identifying potential customer issues.
  • Travelling to multiple sites and ensuring timely end-user support.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation for systems, changes, and compliance.

Skills, experience and attributes needed for the Role

  • Previous IT experience or qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Willing to embrace new challenges and learn quickly.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Be highly proficient in written English and able to communicate with a wide range of people and job functions.
  • Have a keen interest in developing technology skills including networks, operating systems, and computer hardware.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, small team environment.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task and a strong attention to detail.

To be successful in this Role, you must have:

  • A current ‘C’ class driver’s license
  • The right to work in Australia.
