Now with Australian operations in full swing, the 1Komma5 Gold Coast office is thriving and we require the services of not one, but two Technical Support Officers to join the Customer Service Team.

About the Role

As a Technical Support Officer, you will liaise with customers and installers, providing exceptional after-sales and technical support. This includes answering technical queries and tickets that have been logged in our 'service centre', analysing bills, attending to service calls and troubleshooting solutions to the enquiries received by the Customer Care Team.

This exciting office-based role is available for immediate start and the hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

We are really keen to hear from candidates who have experience in technical support gained from the solar industry/or related electrical industries.
We would also welcome applications from candidates who may have a solid understanding of solar, gained from a previous role in solar sales or on the tools as an installer and may be keen to transition into an office-based, solar support role. We can upskill and train the right candidate!

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide phone and email based problem solving and fault finding support for customers and installers
  • Generating cases via CRM to track and resolve customer enquiries
  • Answering technical product/installation enquiries and troubleshooting solutions
  • Liaise with operations, sales and customer care departments to ensure cases are dealt with efficiently
  • Overseeing post solar installations and ensuring systems are commissioned as per the relevant Australian standards

Skills and experience:

  • Ability to handle high volume phone calls and emails.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – particularly verbal communication skills that will allow quick troubleshooting over the phone by getting to the root of the issue quickly and providing a solution.
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to prioritise and problem solve
  • Eagerness to support all team members as required
  • Proactive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Technical understanding of Solar PV or direct Solar Industry experience is highly regarded

On offer is a base salary of up to $70k + super, plus entry into an exciting modern business experiencing rapid growth.
