Paddington Medical Centre is a well-established and independently owned practice in metro Brisbane. We are seeking an experienced RN or EN for our busy treatment room as part of a friendly, welcoming and efficient team.

The role is a permanent part time position to commence ASAP. One of our lovely RN's has just taken a position in the hospital system, so we're looking for her replacement.

Preferred to have experience in:

• Wound management
• Immunisation (including travel, childhood, flu and covid vaccinations)
• Developing catch up immunisation schedules
• Vaccine management
• ECG
• Triaging patients
• Set up and Assist with minor procedures
• Ear Irrigation
• Co-ordinate patient reminders and recalls
• Sterilisation and maintenance of clinical equipment
• Stock management
• Infection Control

We are looking for a friendly, efficient and experienced nurse who can foster an excellent relationship with our existing team of 9 GPs, nursing team, practice manager, staff and patients.

Successful applicants will have:

• Previous experience in general practice setting is essential
• Demonstrated clinical competency
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a very busy environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be hardworking, knowledgeable and adaptable with excellent time management skills

Must be available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays with additional hours to cover sick and annual leave when required.
