The Role
As a Rehabilitation Case Manager, you will provide expert advice and case management support, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation while maintaining a compassionate and solutions-focused approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing return-to-work case management processes, ensuring early intervention and effective rehabilitation strategies
- Overseeing Comcare claims under the SRC Act and liaising with key stakeholders to facilitate case resolution
- Providing guidance to managers on workplace rehabilitation and injury management best practices
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Commonwealth legislation and internal policies
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an integrated approach to case management
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of policies and processes within the team
The Ideal Person
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in return-to-work case management within the Australian Public Service and a strong understanding of Comcare claims under the SRC Act. You will be a resilient and adaptable professional, capable of operating within a geographically dispersed team while managing sensitive cases with discretion and sound judgement.
Your ability to engage with stakeholders confidently, influence decision-making, and navigate complex workplace issues will be key to your success. A solutions-focused mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities will enable you to build trust and provide meaningful support to both managers and employees.
This role offers flexibility, including remote work options for the right candidate.
Salary / Rate
- $88k – $107k + Super
- 6 months Ongoing with options to extend
- S26 Transfer will be considered
- Baseline clearance required or the ability to obtain
