KU Bradfield Park Children's Centre is a 53 place service in the heart of West Lindfield and cares for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. KU Bradfield Park have an emphasis on an inclusive environment, where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn. The service has specially designed indoor and outdoor spaces and encourages children to explore and learn within a nurturing environment and is well known within the local community for their focused, play based education approach and you will be joining a truly dedicated team with all of the KU learning resources at your disposal.
The Role
This exciting opportunity will see you join the team part time, Thursday and Friday in the 3-5's Room. Offered on a fixed term contract between 7th April 2025 and 2 April 2027.
The Early Childhood Teacher will provide high-quality education to young children, using evidence-based and contemporary pedagogy and practices that align with the National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework, and National Education and Care Law and Regulations. They will take the lead in developing and implementing a high-quality educational program and will build positive, respectful, and collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues. The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for developing an inclusive environment where each child’s learning and development needs are met, and the service’s philosophy, policies, and regulatory requirements are upheld.

Of course, you will need:
- Australian working rights
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- A completed ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
