About the role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our passionate and dedicated team at St. George's Preschool in Eastwood, NSW on Thursdays and Fridays from 8am - 4pm. Flexibility in terms of commencement date. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified early childhood teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

What you'll be doing

Implementing a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum that fosters the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children

Providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports each child's individual needs and interests

Engaging children in a variety of experiences, such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music and outdoor play

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to plan future learning experiences

Collaborating with parents and families to build strong partnerships and support children's learning and wellbeing

Ensuring compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and standards

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or an ACCEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree

Active NESA Teacher Accreditation

Strong knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices

Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Demonstrated ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments

Current First Aid including asthma and anaphylaxis, CPR, Child Protection Training and Working with Children Check
