About the Role

The Paediatric Ward is made up of 27 mixed surgical and medical inpatient beds and 10-day procedure beds, and cares for children between the ages of 0 to 18 years.

You will be caring for a mixture of medical, surgical, and orthopaedic paediatric patients.

You will also be involved in:

• Assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating care delivery needs of patients.
• Maintaining a high level of nursing care to all patients within the department
• Check, prepare and administer all medications in accordance with state legislation and organisational policies and procedures.

About You

Your passion for providing quality care, ability to work within a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment and your client-first attitude is essential for this role.

You will also bring:

• Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Experienced Paediatric Nurse
• Must have Post Grad programme in Paediatrics or Similar Experience

Candidates who have or are working towards a postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics will be highly regarded.

Remuneration: On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from $75,436.57 - $99,268.14 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA gr1-gr8)

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months.
