The opportunity

As our Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in the growth and long-term success of our brands. Reporting to the Head of Brands and working closely with the AMCOS team, this role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of key marketing campaigns and tactics and managing the marketing administration requirements for the portfolio. Autonomous, self-motivated, organised, ambitious, innovative, resilient and adaptable – are all attributes synonymous with this role; with the capability of multi-tasking and managing deadlines in a dynamic and small team environment.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the marketing plan from the creative brief to implementation that includes brand specific marketing campaigns and promotions for wholesaler, retail and e-commerce channels.
• Supporting the Head of Brands with annual marketing planning, product to market strategy, analysis of market trends, competitor activity and sales potential.
• Social Media, Influencer and Digital management, working in conjunction with our Promotional Campaign Calendar, ensuring that key brand campaigns are planned and implemented effectively.
• Developing campaign support materials and sales tools to encourage the success of marketing activity
• Producing clear, compelling and captivating copy for all marketing mediums that are reflective of our premium brand;
• Driving customer engagement, sales growth and distribution using market insights and analytics to reporting stage.
• Working with cross-functional teams to activate brand activity & marketing plans.
• Adhering to brand standard style guides, so that brand guidelines are met for marketing purposes.
• Coordinating monthly reports and monitor ROI performance.
• Coordinating the booking of advertising.
• Supporting in coordination of media launches, photo shoots, presentations & events.
• Bringing your marketing ideas to the table, that engage our customers and build business.

The candidate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional team member who knows how to deliver great outcomes and exceed expectations. The successful candidate will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or Business with 12 months work/intern experience.
• Demonstrated previous experience within the haircare or beauty industry is highly regarded.
• Familiarity using content management systems and experience using marketing software, online applications & analytics, with strong analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation.
• Experience supporting digital platforms, including websites, social media, email and digital marketing, ideally familiar with design tools such as Canva and/or InDesign (personal or study accepted).
• Results driven with a desire to meet and exceed goals & targets while being agile & adaptable.
• Highly organised with a strong attention to accuracy and detail, great copywriting skills, good communication and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
