At Bayside Geelong Hotel & Apartments we aim to be the first choice for accommodation in Geelong.

We do not take our waterfront location for granted though.

Currently undergoing a transformation, Bayside Geelong Hotel & Apartments is due to open its new build rooms, restaurant and bar, conferencing and guest facilities in mid-2025.

When complete Bayside Geelong Hotel & Apartments will be a 4 & ½ Star property offering 110 well-appointed accommodations, ranging from hotel rooms and studio apartments to fully self-contained one and two-bedroom apartments. Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities, including multiple meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, indoor pool and sauna, all just minutes from Geelong’s CBD.

As we continue to grow, we seek a vibrant and reliable individual to lead our front-line guest service team.

A successful candidate will need to be prepared to work AM & PM shifts over a seven day roster.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing exceptional guest service
• Hotel reservations plus F&B operations
• Guest engagement
• Maintaining accurate guest accounts
• Assisting with guest enquiries
• Providing a link between all hotel departments
• Maintain hotel brand standards, policies and procedures

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL:

• Exhibit a genuine passion for customer service
• Demonstrate a professional attitude
• Have a well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
• Be a goal orientated team player
• Present exceptional grooming standards
• Have or can obtain a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
• Have or can obtain a Police Clearance

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO:

• Have previous experience within a hotel or restaurant
• Have a current First aid certificate
• Have a Certificate III in Hospitality
• Have Barista Skills
