Michael Page have partnered with a local council located south east of the Perth CBD to recruit a Finance Business Partner Team Lead into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

A proud local council, our client has been serving the local community for well over a century. With a key passion for growth and strategy, the council is now seeking to strengthen its Finance Business Partner team with this new hire.

Description

Reporting into the Executive Director, this role will play a key part of the council's strategic financial plan. Key duties will include:

• Leading a team of Finance Business Partners
• Run the master budget
• Conduct long-term financial analysis
• Provide strategic recommendations, based on tailored analysis
• Analysis of trends which will help determine the council's financial position
• Act as a true business partner across the council

Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Finance Business Partnering and has a prior experience leading teams. Key traits will also include:

• CA/CPA Qualified
• Prior local council experience (desired)
• Ability to lead teams, whilst at the same time, handling own workload
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
