We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager to play a vital role in delivering high-quality business services and tax advice. This position is ideal for a professional looking to step into a leadership role while maintaining strong technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, and tax returns
• Conducting tax planning and advisory, including FBT, Div 7A, and business structuring
• Reviewing BAS, IAS, and payroll tax calculations for accuracy and compliance
• Providing strategic business advisory services
• Mentoring and training junior accountants, assisting with their professional growth
• Staying up to date with tax legislation changes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

About you:

• CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
• 4+ years of experience in business services and tax in an Australian firm
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation, compliance, and advisory
• Leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing junior team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and more
