Job description:

We are looking for expressions of interest for an office-based Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator who knows what it takes to be the extension of a busy sales team and work as part of a small business. Working from our head office in Malvern East, Victoria we are looking for a full-time (12month contract) candidate with skills to manage daily processes including purchasing, tracking inventory, running stock reports, working with third party warehouses and supporting customer service.

An ideal candidate would need to be an energetic and highly motivated worker who can think outside of the box and work independently.

Key responsibilities and Duties:

• Stock forecasting, Purchasing, Tracking, Receipting & Reporting Inventory requirements for the businesses in Australia & New Zealand
• Liaising with Suppliers, Freight forwarders, Customs, Warehouses & freight companies for product importing
• Freight & Warehouse Distribution analysis including budgets for Order packing, Stock storage and stock transfers.
• Supporting Customer Service in their role.
• All other adhoc administrative responsibilities as required

Key Skills/experience:

• Experience in purchasing/logistics role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Mid-level computer skills including word and excel.
• Experience in customer service is favorable.
