Communications Officer 0.50FTE
Annual Salary: $102,531 to $106,799 per annum full-time equivalent
An exciting opportunity for a highly organised go getter with a passion for communications and marketing.
As our Communications Officer, no two days will be the same. One day, you might be crafting engaging newsletters for our 16,000+ residents, and the next, you’ll be coordinating interviews with media outlets. This dynamic role is perfect for someone with a diverse background in written communications, marketing, media liaison, social media, website management, and speech writing.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be the right fit for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Highly developed writing skills
- Ability to tailor content in a highly nuanced and political environment
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- At least two years’ experience in a media, communications or public relations role
About the role
The Communications Officer role will be undertaken in a job share arrangement with two employees sharing the role and its workload at 0.50FTE each. The officers undertaking this role are jointly responsible for all duties and work as a team to complete them under the guidance of the Strategy and Engagement Business Partner.
