  • Build a high-performance culture that embraces change, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, negotiation, and networking.
  • Manage workforce planning, performance expectations, and team development initiatives.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of your team, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Represent labour hire licensing in high-level meetings and forums, advocating for best practices in compliance and enforcement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Possesses strong analytical and decision-making skills to assess operational risks and compliance strategies.
  • Is a skilled communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve complex issues.
  • Thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting with competing priorities.
  • Is committed to achieving positive outcomes for labour hire workers and businesses in Queensland.
  • Has a demonstrated ability to build stakeholder relationships and drive engagement in compliance initiatives.

Highly Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Background in law, business, or public policy (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in regulatory enforcement, licensing, or compliance-related leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of workplace laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Current driver's licence or ability to obtain one.

Why Join Us?

  • Lead a high-performing team and drive impactful regulatory change.
  • Work in a dynamic and collaborative government environment.
  • Competitive salary and professional growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to protecting workers and improving labour hire industry standards.
