Role Description
Loading: Part time (0.4 FTE), with flexibility to adjust specific hours for the right person.
Reports to: General Manager
Works closely with: Finance Manager, HHC Principal, LLC Headmaster and Registrar
Work Eligibility: Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours

About the role
PARED Victoria operates two schools: Harkaway Hills College (commenced 2016) and Lysterfield Lake College (commenced 2022). Our schools have now grown to approximately 470 students and 80 staff, and will continue to expand into the foreseeable future. The HR and Payroll Officer will be an important addition to our team – helping with current work demand and setting us up for future success.

- High computer literacy with all MS Office products, Xero and banking portals
- Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee) & Police Check is required.
Duties
- Complete monthly payroll for all employees
- Prepare HR related documentation, including duty statements & calculations of salary & time fractions.
- Manage staff leave requests & absences (including queries, register, approval process).
- Coordinate HR database (upkeep of database including current & new staff, uploading of documents, entry of personal details & role changes).
- Develop and ensure recruitment, selection, and induction processes are professional and efficient.
- Oversight of end-to-end recruitment (including advertising, screening, reference checks, employment contracts, onboarding & induction)
- Oversee aspects of compliance and reporting (VIT, Working with Children Check, Visa’s, Director ID’s etc.)
- Assist in change management and contribute to HR policies and processes.
- Respond to enquiries and provide generalist HR advice to staff & managers (in consultation with ISV as required).
- Assistance with Accounts Payable entry if required
