We proudly operate two fully accredited care facilities located in Coburg North and Mill Park, delivering high-quality care in a supportive, people-focused environment.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join our team in a permanent part-time hybrid position (approx. 25 hours per week).
What we offer:
Flexible and Mutually negotiable work arrangements – For example:
3 weekdays per week, 9am to 5pm, or
5 shorter days, 9am to 3pm.
A hybrid work model – a blend of working from home and onsite across our Coburg North and Mill Park facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Where appropriate, conduct initial investigations for staff incidents, performance management, and disciplinary processes
Liaise with external HR consultanting firm for professional advice and guidance
Take minutes during staff-related meetings and maintain accurate records
Audit and monitor HR documentation to ensure compliance and currency
Draft and post job advertisements, and explore external recruitment opportunities
Assist with HR data collation for management meetings and prepare relevant reports
Stay up to date with aged care sector obligations, awards, EBA’s and Fair Work compliance, and provide mentorship to Management in these areas
Collaborate with our Marketing Manager on morale-boosting and staff engagement initiatives
About You:
A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine interest in supporting people
Previous experience in an HR support or coordinator role
Strong organisational and communication skills
Intermediate to advanced computer skills particularly in Microsoft Word and Outlook
Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality
Relevant qualifications in HR or a related field (preferred but not essential)

Established in 2009, Bethel Aged Care is a 121 bed residential aged care facility offering a various levels of care as well as the option for extra services. Bethel Aged Care is in a league of its own, rivaling many upmarket hotels in terms of finishings and class whilst retaining the feeling of home.
Bethel Aged Care is operated by a team of professionals from diverse backgrounds, such as nursing and medical, all of whom have an active interest in the daily running of the facility. The proprietors have over 20 years of aged care management experience between them and take a very hands.
First established in 1997, with several extensions and renovations later, Anzac Lodge now offers 120 residential aged care beds. Anzac Lodge is all about recreating the feeling of home. The cosy and friendly atmosphere is the standout remark most often made by visitors. Whilst we are a multi cultural facility, we have a large percentage of residents for from an Italian background. Accordingly, we have recruited several staff who speak Italian and also run Italian classes for many of our staff.
Our aim is to set the standard in the region for aged care in providing the best possible level of care to our residents in a homely and supportive environment. We believe that a holistic approach towards aged care is essential and to be culturally appropriate in delivering this care.
