The Company

Our client is a growth-orientated not-for-profit organisation offering a flexible, dynamic work environment. Due to a recent expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their collaborative and innovative finance team. With a strong focus on community impact, this organisation places its people at the heart of their continued success.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead the preparation and reporting for month-end processes including balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly financial and management reports
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
• Consolidation of annual statutory accounts
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations including BAS, PAYG, FBT and superannuation
• Lead preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors

About you

• CPA/ CA or similarly qualified, or working towards
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
• At least 5 years of relevant experience within a large corporation
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively with all key stakeholders
• Sound technical skills in internal control and financial reporting
