THE COMPANY:
Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for interior textiles? Do you have a proven track record of building strong customer relationships and driving sales growth? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a senior Sales Executive to join a well-established, family-owned wholesale textiles business.
Our client is a leading supplier of window coverings and fabrics, offering a diverse range of products from budget-friendly options to high-end, premium fabrics. They have been servicing the Australian and New Zealand markets for many decades and are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Executive to further expand their market presence.
THE ROLE:
In this senior sales position, you will be responsible for engaging with major manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors in the window coverings and textile industries. You will sell a wide range of fabrics, ready-made products, and exclusive European-designed products. This is a high-impact role requiring you to manage both existing relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including well-known retailers and wholesalers in the textile and window coverings industries.
Sales Territory: Manage a designated sales territory out in the field, primarily covering NSW with additional interstate travel.
Sales Reporting: Report directly to the General Manager, providing regular updates on performance, new business opportunities, and key sales metrics.
Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to share customer feedback and assist in the development of new product offerings.
Account Management: Inherit 2-3 existing accounts, with a strong emphasis on developing new business and building a robust client portfolio.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:
A proven track record in sales, preferably within wholesale textiles or a related industry.
Strong negotiation skills with a focus on building long-term, successful client relationships.
A proactive, self-motivated individual who is comfortable working autonomously and managing a dynamic sales territory.
Ability to travel frequently and manage time effectively to balance client meetings, admin, and team collaborations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5+ years sales experience in B2B fabrics, textiles, interior products, building materials or design led items.

SALARY:
$120K - $140K (depending on experience) + Super + Company Vehicle and Tools of Trade. Free onsite parking.
