EE Group is a leading distribution company with offices located in Melbourne & Sydney specialising in the importing and distribution of drones and other technology products to consumer and enterprise markets within Australia.

The Role:

An opportunity exists in our Victoria office, for an experienced Junior Consumer Sales & Training/Relationship Manager to assist with building on from existing relationships to sell-in and conduct training/merchandising of our extensive dealer network with some of our world leading Tech brands.

The highly skilled and motivated junior sales and training manager will be responsible for account managing and providing training or in-store, visual merchandising for existing dealers. The person will maintain, promote and train the stores sales reps on existing and new products.

The ideal candidate will be provided with some basic technical product knowledge but will need to have excellent communication, sales and account management skills.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Get to know our products, our goals, and our point of difference, and help us communicate the ways we can help clients improve their business.
• Work with our engineering team to understand all aspects of outdoor tech products including action cameras, portable energy solutions and other recreational/educational products such as Drones.
• Provide face to face technical training on our suite of consumer/retail products to demonstrate the value proposition to retail staff.
• Assist stores with visual merchandising on our products including working with retail staff on promotional assets and locations in stores.
• Work directly with our operations team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Establish and build long-term business relationships with existing dealers.

Sales Experience Required:

• Sales experience in a sales role with track record of either working with retail channels, training or visual merchandising.
• Experienced in tangible products ideally from camping/outdoor/adventure/recreational or camera equipment sales.
• Exposure working with large retailers and/or small dealer outlets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities, clients and projects simultaneously.

Travel requirements:

• Some levels of business travels is required for this role which may include but not limited dealer visits, attendance at certain trade shows or events for market development, perform offsite training with our engineering team members and other EE Group conducted events and/or roadshows.
• Intrastate travels (this is the state of which you reside in)
• Interstate travel expenses will be reimbursed (these include other states or territories within Australia).
• Sometimes these travels may require you during or outside business hours onsite or offsite.

Other Requirements:

• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Punctual but flexible as required by the organisation.
• Customer centric and ability to build relationships internally & externally.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise to customers.
• Some visual merchandising or Training experience is desirable.
• Must have own car & a valid Driver’s license is required.
• Whilst the specific type of product sales is not essential, however your willingness to learn and a passion for tech products is imperative.
