We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative (Industrial Products) to drive sales
growth in the solar rooftop sector. This role combines technical expertise with strategic sales
acumen to promote solar energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients. The ideal
candidate will leverage market knowledge, client relationships, and collaboration with
technical teams to deliver tailored solar systems.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Economics, Business, or a related
field (preferred)
Experience: Proven sales or technical sales experience in industrial products, ideally in
renewable energy or solar sectors
Skills:
The prospective applicants must possess the following attributes and skills:
 Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
 Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Dataforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
 Knowledge of solar system components, financing options, and regulatory incentives.
 Must be an Australian citizen or PR
 Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings

Key Responsibilities:
Your tasks and duties will include:
 Promote and Sell VEU Products Solutions (Heat pumps and Aircon not limited to Commercial Solar): Identify and pursue new business opportunities
in the solar rooftop market, focusing on industrial clients. Present solar energy
benefits, including cost savings, environmental impact, and incentives like tax credits.
 Client Engagement: Assess customer needs through site evaluations (e.g., roof
suitability, energy consumption patterns) and collaborate with design/engineering
teams to develop custom proposals.
 Negotiate Contracts: Quote prices, negotiate credit terms, and finalize contracts.
Ensure alignment with client preferences and regulatory requirements.

 Technical Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to design solar systems,
resolve installation challenges, and provide post-sale support (e.g., backorder
management, troubleshooting).
 Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer
feedback to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
 Reporting & Administration: Prepare sales reports, maintain CRM records, and
track pipeline performance.
