An exciting and rewarding opportunity to join our Federal Government client where you will be able to make a difference to our community. This role will be at the APS4 level equivalent.
The Role
Working within the Operations and Housing Support Branch in the Service Delivery Group the APS4 Planner provides operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in service delivery areas and undertakes some research and analysis activities. Depending on location the position may have direct contact with participants.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Gathering information from participants and planning partners over the phone or in person, to enable high-quality planning and evidence-based decision-making.
- Using a range of policies, practice guidance and legislation to make funding decisions in relation to participant plans to complement informal, community and mainstream supports.
- Liaising with key stakeholders including Partners in the Community to deliver services to participants.
- Resolving issues and complaints in relation to participant plans.
- Completing administrative and data entry tasks relating to participants.
- Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators, including planning targets.
About You
- Experience working in an environment with changing priorities and timeframes
- Ability to successfully organise your workflow
- Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders
- Sound MS Office and keyboarding skills
It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability.
As this role is within the Federal Government, applicants must be an Australian Citizen. These roles are full-time business hours for a 12 month period with view to extension, based in Brisbane CBD.
