Skilled to provide all elements of personal care and manual handling to participants with varying needs (this includes support with all hygiene and continence related needs)
Skilled to provide support to individuals in their communities
Experience in managing behaviours of concern

Who are we?
Here2Thrive is a community of passionate coordinators, support workers, and participants of the NDIS. Here2Thrive is committed to providing a holistic, empowering, and safe space for both staff and participants to thrive.
Here2Thrive provides a range of NDIS funded services to individuals and families. Our services are designed to promote independence, improve wellbeing, and enhance quality of life. Our team of passionate coordinators and support workers work closely with participants to provide personalised care and support. We take a person-centered approach, and work collaboratively with our participants to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. Our focus is on building strong and meaningful relationships with both our participants and staff and supporting them to live their best lives and feel supported in their careers.

Our support services are offered all around Melbourne and the majority of our services occur in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Our support workers travel to participants and specific locations depending on the required support. You must be willing and able to travel in your own vehicle to get to various locations within Melbourne to perform this role. We take into consideration the locations of both support workers/participants, to ensure that the distance travelled to and from support arrangements is reasonable.
Expanding our team:
We are searching for experienced and passionate Disability and Mental Health Support Workers who are confident and experienced in providing both disability and mental health related supports. We are looking for individuals who have a variety of experience, personal and/or professional, with both adults and children. It is highly desirable for our support workers to have experienced a range of support needs, including complex and behavioural support needs. Although we will provide ongoing training and professional development, our support worker applicants should already have qualifications and/or extensive experience within the field of Disability/Mental health.
What do we look for in a Support Worker?
They have an individualised approach for every participant they support
They have the ability to take initiative and be creative in their work
They support participant(s) to reach their outlined goals
They have excellent communication with participants, representatives and their circle of support
They have excellent communication with Here2Thrive management
They have excellent time management skills
They are consistent with using the CareMaster app to check in/out of support shifts and complete brief notes following each support shift (training provided)
They have qualifications/training related to the field of Disability/Mental health
They have current First Aid and CPR certificates
They have both current Police/Working with children checks (employee version)
They have an NDIS Worker Screening Check
They have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Quality Safety and You)
They have a current Victorian Drivers Licence with comprehensive insurance and be willing to use their vehicle to provide transport (travel reimbursements included)

We offer competitive rates of pay ranging from $41.76 per hour on Weekdays up until 8pm, $45.94 per hour on Weekdays after 8pm, $58.47 per hour on Saturdays, $75.17 on Sundays and $91.88 per hour on Public Holidays

Almost all of our support opportunities are regular recurring weekly supports. This means it is highly likely that you will have have consistent and ongoing work with the benefit of being paid at a casual rate!
